As a seller : you want people to buy the spots on your GB
1. Post only positions you want to be taken and are locked
> Seller pays for any damages if the positions are not locked> "Locked" means that, once the buyer of the position has put his/her FPs at a 1.9 rate, his/her position is guaranteed. For more information, see link above for blog post.
2. Double check that your GB's positions are locked before posting !
> Is the position locked ?> Is the price correct ?
3. How to announce the sell in the thread
> You don't attach the actual GB.> Just say your name, your GB, the spots you want taken, in reverse order.
> Example : Sabrina AO 2 1
> Optional but always good : the number of FPs needed for each spot, any indication as to how long it's going to take you to level the GB, approximately.
4. Only post GBs positions that have base rewards
> If there is no reward (most GBs in low level have no rewards in 5th position), post it in the "GBs close to leveling" or arrange someone to pick the spots for prints or self-level.5. Leveling 1.9 GBs is the top priority
> Please be mindful you are holding someone else’s forge points (that you got for free !) and return them as soon as possible by leveling the GB ASAP.> Usual expectation is 24 hours or less, if it is going be 48 hour or more please note this on the post. Example "Sabrina TA 2 1 - expect 3 days until flipped"
> Likewise, if you want to do a fast level, mention it as people are more inclined to take spots (especially those that require a lot of FPs) if they know the GB will be flipped within an hour... Example : "Sabrina TA 2 1 -- Lightspeed flipping !"
As a buyer : you are buying spots on other players' GBs
1. Call the spot !!
> You MUST call the position in the thread FIRST BEFORE placing any forge points.> Example : if the thread has Sabrina AO 3 2 1, then you write "Sabrina 1" in the thread before you put the FPs on her AO.
> Buyer who did not call the spot pays for any damage.
2. Call the 1st available spot (call in order)
> Positions must be called in order highest to lowest by buyers, meaning locks are taking in descending order from 1st to 5th spot.> Example : Sabrina AO 3 2 1 - you cannot take 2 if 1 hasn't been taken and paid, you cannot take 3 if 2 hasn't been taken and paid.
> Buyer who went out of order pays any damage.
3. Never call a spot that has not been announced
> If you are interested in a position that hasn't been posted, don't take it but contact the building owner to arrange it privately.4. How to call a position
> As mentioned in 1), first you call the spot you are buying !> Then you place FPs on the GB for the spot you called
> Then you come back to the thread and copy / paste what was there and simply remove the spot you took
> Example : the thread has :
Sabrina AO 3 2 1
Diablo's LoA 4
You want to take Sabrina AO 1 > You write "Sabrina AO 1". You pay the FPs. You go back to the thread and copy / paste / remove the spot you took. Now the thread looks like :
Sabrina AO 3 2
Diablo's LoA 4
If there was only one spot available on one GB and you claimed it, then you simply write "CLEAR".
We've developed a slightly different way of calling the spot. The seller will typically post a string from a FoE Tools' GB Investment page (https://foe.tools/gb-investment/), which looks like this, showing Diablo adding a building to Sabrina's already existing building post:

with the 1.9x cost after the slot number, and the slots in reverse order.
To claim a slot, repost the whole thing, all lines, with the slot you're taking removed; if it was the last slot on that building, remove the whole line. Once you see that your claim was not later than someone else's, go and pay for it. To claim Sabrina's P1 from the post above, you'd post
Sabrina: AO P3(38) P2(95)
Diablo: LoA P4(19)
And to claim Diablo's building from that, you'd post
Sabrina: AO P3(38) P2(95)
As described above, if you take the last slot of the last building in the thread, simply post "Clear" instead.
